Nina C. Remson, Esq. is the founding member of the firm and an attorney in Hackensack, New Jersey since 1991. She is admitted to the Bars of New Jersey and New York and various Federal Courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.

Ms. Remson received her Bachelor's Degree from Douglass College, Rutgers University in 1988 and her Law Degree from Rutgers Law School in Newark in 1991. She served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Martin J. Kole, J.A.D., in the Bergen County Superior Court from 1991-1992.

Ms. Remson serves as the Secretary of the District Ethics Committees for Districts IIA and IIB, screening and docketing grievances made by the public against attorney's alleged to have violated the Rules of Professional Responsibility and overseeing the investigation and prosecution of such complaints. Ms. Remson has participated in a CLE (continuing legal education) program, presenting ethics rules, issues and grievance procedures to her colleagues. Ms. Remson has also been appointed to serve on the distinguished Supreme Court Committee on Attorney Advertising.

Ms. Remson is the President of Women Lawyers in Bergen (WLIB) for the term commencing June 6, 2016. WLIB is one of the most established women attorney professional organizations in the State of New Jersey, having been organized in 1976. WLIB has assisted its members in achieving leadership positions as Judges, Law Firm Partners and as leaders in other Bar Associations, including the Bergen County Bar and State Bar. Ms. Remson diligently worked with a Past President to achieve Continuing Legal Education provider status for that organization. She also worked on committees to develop the association's website and to update the WLIB Bylaws. She frequently runs fundraisers for the charitable arm of WLIB, the Jean Robertson Scholarship Foundation, and is involved in many WLIB membership events.

Ms. Remson is active in the Bergen County Bar Association (BCBA) where she is serving her second term as a Trustee and Co-Chairs the Municipal Court Committee and is an active member of the Criminal and Juvenile Committees. Ms. Remson has drafted memoranda and position statements for the Bar on jury selection in criminal cases and on the future of legal professional services in New Jersey. Ms. Remson serves as Co-Chair of the Professionalism in the Law Committee and as a member of the Diversity Committee.

Ms. Remson is also active in the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA), where she is a past Chairperson and current Trustee of the LGBT Rights Section. The LGBT Rights Section serves the interests of the public and attorneys involved in cases and the pursuit of legislation pertaining to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community throughout the State of New Jersey. Ms. Remson and has lectured on Civil Union/Marriage Equality laws and has provided sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) training for Judges at Judicial College. Ms. Remson is also a member of Garden State Equality, the largest GLBT grassroots community organization in New Jersey, which has successfully fought for Anti-Bullying Legislation and Marriage Equality. She is also a member of the Criminal Law Section, Municipal Court Section, Solo and Small Firm Practice Section and Women in the Profession Section and has served on the has served on the Diversity Committee, the Nominating Committee and the Amicus Committee.

Ms. Remson has been a speaker, moderator and curriculum developer for many classes taught to other lawyers, judges, prosecutors and probation officers on Criminal, Municipal Court, Domestic Violence, LGBTQ and Ethics topics over the years.

Ms. Remson is on the court-appointed attorney list to represent allegedly incapacitated individuals in guardianship proceedings in Bergen County. She has represented many such individuals in Bergen County and has presented a CLE with the former Bergen County Assignment Judge and another attorney in May 2011 on this subject. Ms. Remson also assists families of allegedly incapacitated individuals in obtaining guardianship over their loved ones.

Ms. Remson is active in her community and is sensitive to the needs of her neighbors and issues affecting the local community. She served for six years on her former condominium association board and is currently a member of the Bergen County LGBTQ Advisory Board.
